Stuck in a Maze

Overview:

Here's a playable game I created for the Africacomicade Gamathon '23 Game Jam. In this game, your primary goal is to collect all the pathway-arrows scattered throughout a maze in which you find yourself trapped. By doing so, you'll create a clear escape route that will lead you to level completion.

Long Description:

Stuck in a Maze is an engaging top-down strategy game that challenges players to break free from a labyrinthine prison. In this immersive experience, you'll need to employ every available technique to navigate your way out while carefully managing your stamina. Your stamina depletes as you traverse the maze but regenerates when you pause. Be on the lookout for both treacherous obstacles and helpful items scattered throughout the maze to either hinder or assist your progress. Each triumphant escape unlocks a new level, and as you advance, the game's difficulty scales to match your expertise.

Available in the game's Info menu, but,

Keyboard:

A/D or Arrow keys - Movement

X - Exit current Level.

Gamepad:

Left-stick (Left/Right) - Movement

Start - Exit current Level.
